COME ON IN AND LISTEN TO NEWSOUNDWORKS MADE FOR THE PUBLIC SPACE OF GELLERUP
 
Saturday and Sunday the 24th – 25th of September 2011 the Aarhus Art Building’s satellite Sigrid’s Space opens an extensive sound and performance exhibition by Sandra Johnston: PLAY BACK – SOUNDSCAPE GELLERUP in a three-step route through Gellerupparken
 
PLAY BACK will be played in The Apartment - an empty apartment in a housing block on Bentesvej, The School - in the abandoned wing of Nordgårdsskolen, and outside in the open urban space on the path through Gellerup at The Border.
 
The Apartment: Bentesvej 5, 3rd floor
A site-specific sound installation in one of the demolition threatened apartments.
Saturday Sep. 24th 1–4 pm. & 6–8pm.
Sunday Sep. 25th 1-5 pm
 
The School: Nordårdskolen, Sigridsvej 46.
In the abandoned wing of Nordgårdsskolen sound installations are presented in correspondence with a performance by Sandra Johnston and live events by guest in the former classrooms.
MAIN EVENT : Saturday Sep. 24th 4–6 pm.
Sunday Sep. 25th 1-5 pm – only sound installations.

The Border: A key point on the main path through Gellerupparken, that runs from City Vest to Bazaar Vest.
Saturday Sep. 24th 1–8 pm.
